Founded by the Art Directors Club in 1996 as a showcase of emerging creative talent, Young Guns is a portfolio-based competition for creative professionals 30 years of age or under that has grown to become one of the most coveted accolades in the global creative community.
YG branding and the design of the award are reimagined each year by a past Young Gun winner. This year’s YG23 branding and award are designed by YG19 winner Khyati Trehan.
After several weeks of intense scrutiny, our esteemed jury has at last selected the following individuals and teams as official YG23 Finalists.
First of all, let’s give these people a hand; Young Guns is an extremely difficult honor to win, and the people competing in it are among the best in the world. Making it this far is an accomplishment in itself. That said, it’s far from over. These finalists now move on to one last round of voting and spirited discussion. When the smoke clears, we will at last have our YG23 winners. The new class will be publicly revealed on Wednesday, January 14th, with the famously raucous ceremony and party taking place on Wednesday, January 28th at Sony Hall in New York City. Tickets are on sale now.
